So...Some Samurai and An Elephant Walk Into a Soccer Stadium

It's the kind of way you don't want to start your day, or your World Cup. In the shower that was Arena Pernambuco Recife, Cote D'Ivoire and Japan came out trying to keep pace with Colombia who sank a pirate ship earlier in the day with a 3-0 victory over Greece. Battling the rain, and the creatures of the rainforest, such as Mariposa the Mothra-like moth, Brazil was glad that Godzilla didn't arrive. Unfortunately for Japan, they'd have rather taken on the behemoth lizard who they have been known to defeat. Instead, the Japanese nationals had a comeback to deal with, and thwart it they could not. The Samurai struck first as they cruised past the Elephants in nothing other than...a Honda. Keisuke Honda, to be exact. By winning the drag race out of the gate, Japan took the lead into the half. The second half was a boggy mess as it started, until Ivorian good guy Didier Drogba (He built a hospital paying for it out of pocket, and brought an end to an Ivorian Civil war, seriously, give this man a sainthood) came on as a sub in the 62nd minute. All of a sudden Cote D'Ivoire found a new confidence. Two minutes later Wilfried Bony blasts the equalizer into the net. Two more minutes later and Gervinho scored a second, giving Cote D'Ivoire three points. Lesson here for all, take a Samurai's katana away, give him a soccer ball, and watch an elephant stampede him to death.
