In the final moments of the match, Ecuador had a great chance to score and win, but holding onto the ball too long allowed for a counter attack. The ball fell to Haris Seferovic who put it into the net with 30 seconds to play. Just like that, Switzerland have snatched the three points and set the pace for France.
