 France and England were set to battle in their Quarter-final matchup. It would be France who would score first off of a brilliant strike by Aurelien Tchouameni in the 17th minute. England would find their equalizer when Harry Kane would convert a penalty kick in the 54th minute. This match would turn into a back and forth contest as both nations fought hard to score. It was Olivier Giroud who would strike giving France the 2-1 lead in the 78th minute. England's best chance to equalize was another Harry Kane penalty kick that the English captain would put well over the crossbar. France survive and will try to break Morocco's amazing defense on Tuesday.
