En-Nesyri You in the Semi-Finals

 

Morocco headed into their match with Portugal trying to be the first African team to reach the Semi-finals. Their defense has been stellar, as the only goal Morocco has given up was an own goal. The big question was, could they find the goal to defeat Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo started on the bench once again. Yet, even when he came on as a substitute, he caused trouble but could not force a goal. Even with the minutes dwindling away and a red card for Walid Cheddira leaving Morocco with 10 men, the Portuguese onslaught could not break the red wall of defense. Yousseff En-Nesyri's goal way back in the 42nd minute proved to be all Morocco would need to advance to Tuesday's Semi's.
