Inarguably, the best striker to have never scored at a World Cup is Poland's Robert Lewandowski. Poland faced the daunting task of playing a Saudi Arabian side who were flying high from beating Argentina 2-1. The Saudis brought the game to Poland, for most of it looking like the better side. Piotr Zielinski put Poland ahead in the 39th minute. Saudi Arabia had a chance to tie, but Salem Aldawsari's penalty kick was saved by Wojciech Szczesny, who got up quickly enough to also save the shot off the rebound. Robert Lewandowski would put the game away off an errant pass to put Poland up 2-0 for the good.
