Cameroon were looking to improve their tournament experience after losing to Switzerland. Serbia were looking to do the same after their 0-2 loss to Brazil. It was Cameroon that struck first in the 29th minute when Jean-Charles Castelleto found the back of the net. That was enough to wake Serbia up. Two stoppage time goals from Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic put Serbia ahead going into the half. Aleksandar Mitrovic would open the scoring in the second half to put Serbia up 3-1. Cameroon would fight back with two goals in three minutes from Vincent Aboubakar and Eric Maxim Choupu-Moting would put the game level at 3-3. The worst part of this game was that it had to come to an end.
