After 3 Minutes, He Wants to Go Home

17/64 of the way through the World Cup and Colombia's Carlos Sanchez decides he's had enough of the footballing life after only 3 minutes. His handball in the penalty box got him sent off and aided Japan in their 2:1 victory. Elsewhere, shoddy refereeing and sloppy play all around resulted in Senegal's 2:1 victory, while Russia continued their dominance with a 3:1 victory over Egypt.

Today's Disciplinary Official is Nawaf Shukralla, the referee for the Poland vs Senegal Match. He seemed very overwhelmed by the atmosphere as he let on a Senegalese player while Poland had the ball which gave an advantage to the Africans and allowed them to score the winning goal. He would prefer to just vanish into thin air right now, and so have any disciplinary decisions he has towards the players.

Day 7 begins tomorrow. Best of Luck.
