Hazards Light the Way to Victory

Denmark would step onto the field for the first time since they lost to Finland 0-1 after Christian Ericksen suffered a heart attack on the field of their opening match. Inspired to do better, Yussuf Poulsen would give them the 1-0 in the second minute. Thorgen Hazard would strike one back for Belgium to even the game. As his brother Eden came on as a substitute for Thorgen, we’d see Eden assist the go ahead goal scored by Kevin De Bruyne. Belgium find themselves top of the group while Denmark remain in the bottom spot. Denmark earned Fortuitous 6 points, while Belgium earned Praeceptor 33 points.

Today’s Player of the Day is one of two to earn the highest points of the day, and the highest single day total in the tournament to date. With 27 points on the day, Colubris finds herself back in seventh place. If France can show her a proper showing with some Euro Buddy points, she’ll surely be back in the mix.

Sleep well my Crias.
