7/17 of the way through the tournament. Day 8 turned out not to be great overall. It began with Sweden edging out Slovakia off of Emil Forsberg’s converted penalty in the 77^th minute. He was granted the opportunity thanks to Martin Dubravka’s foul on Robin Quaison in the box. The victory puts Sweden in first and Slovakia in second with Poland and Spain set to match-up tomorrow. Sweden may have gotten the victory, but their lackluster performance failed to earn Quaesitor any points.

Two Number Ones Up to the Task of Keeping it Zero to Zero

The nightcap of the day saw England play host to Scotland. This rivalry used to be as competitive as it is fierce. Yet, on this day Scotland were up to the battle.
