Greetings to all Contestants,
Welcome to the inaugural TSzAL Super Puchar tournament of 2024. This Summer we will be crowning a new champion who will serve as the joint European Champion and South American Champion. This means that finishing first in one of the two tournaments, the 2024 UEFA European Championship or the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa America, doesn't make you the champion of that tournament. Rather, it will be the cumulative total a contestant has over both tournaments that will determine the winner.
Due to the fact that the UEFA European Championship has 36 teams compared to CONMEBOL's Copa America which has only 24 teams, the majority of points you can earn will come from the UEFA European Championship. Europe's crown is a more difficult tournament to win and has been credited by some pundits as even more difficult than FIFA's World Cup. For this reason, roughly two thirds of all available points will come from UEFA's tournament, and one third will come from CONMEBOL'S.

The UEFA European Championship will be the first tournament to get underway starting on June 14th. You will be receiving your brackets for this competition first. All information for the teams participating can be found at The Secret Society of the Salmon Alpaca Online. Your entries must be submitted prior to Midnight, the morning of the 14th. Any changes made after this date will not take effect.
Your brackets will be sent via email. Please fill them out entering only the score for each match. The tables will populate automatically. Your Group Winners, Runners-up, and Third Place teams will be listed below the scores. If any of these categories does not have a team listed, then you have a tie. That means you should adjust your scores so that the tie is broken, or you can mark the number 1 in the tiebreaker column of the team you wish to finish ahead. Once you have completed all first round results, breaking any necessary ties, you can move onto the 3rd Place tab.
All teams here are automatically populated from their respective tabs. Due to a glitch, you may not see the correct information listed in the chart next to each team. We are aware of this, but please rest assuredly knowing the correct calculations are taking place. Notice the second table on this tab which should list the 3rd place teams in order from 1st to 4th along with their group letter. If there is any slot that does not show a team, this means there is a tie. Please use the tiebreaker column to select the team you would like to finish higher. Once all ties have been broken, the third place teams will automatically populate into the Playoff Tab.
From here, it's all a matter of entering the scores. The first box next to a team is the score for regulation and extra time that may be played. The second box is for any matches you think will go to penalty kicks. This box will contain the amount of penalty kicks each team scores.
When you receive your Copa America brackets, you will have until Midnight the morning of June 20th which is the day the tournament kicks off. The information for the teams will be found on The Secret Society of the Salmon Alpaca Online in the coming days. The brackets for the Copa America will be easier to fill since 3rd place teams are not eligible to make the playoffs. The Copa America brackets will be released at a later date.
Once you fill the scores for all first round matches, you will see the Group Winners and Runners-up below the scores. If a team is not listed in one or both of the categories, you must break a tie. You can either change your scores or mark a 1 in the tiebreaker column of the team you would like to see finish higher.
Our tournament will culminate on July 14th in a double header final. The 2024 UEFA European Championship match will start at 3:00 pm on July 14th, followed bye 2024 CONMEBOL Copa America Final to be played at 8:00 pm.
