Day 19 Wrap Up

48/51 through the Euros and the final four teams are known. Denmark and England join Spain and Italy in the Semi-finals. Only three matches remain until UEFA crowns a champion, and so does the TSzAL. The day started with the killer D's going 2-0 up on the Cech Republic through Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg. The Czechs would fight to within one when Patrick Schick would score. The rest of the game saw no goals and the Czechs would be going home. The second match of the day saw England travel for their one away match to Rome. There, they came to life dominating Ukraine 4-0. The Cech performance won Quaesitor 28 Euro Buddy Points. Denmark's win gave Fortuitous 60 points. Ukraine's loss left IoannesNix with 4 Euro Buddy Points. And England's dominance brought Historicus 76 Euro Buddy Points. With their picks for Champions still in the tournament IoannesNix and Historicus are looking for Italy and England to win the tournament respectively for a chance to comeback from the bottom half of the pack and win the tournament.

Day 18 Wrap Up

 46/51 through the Euros as Switzerland and Belgium pack their bags for home. In the opening match Switzerland didn't let Zakaria's own goal deter their efforts. Shaqiri's 68th minute strike brought the match level. Remo Freuler's red card wasn't enough to give Spain the win even with the man advantage. The Swiss were feeling good going into the penalty kick shoot out especially when Sergio Busquets hit the post for Spain's first attempt. After that both teams would trade some misses as Spain would edge out a 3-1 win on penalties. In the second match Italy came out more aggressive and saw their first goal called off for being offsides. They would soon take the lead through Nicolo Barella's goal. The lead would double when Lorenzo Insigne scored in the 44th minute. Romelu Lukaku would convert a penalty in stoppage time to keep Belgium in reach with a 1-2 deficit. The second half saw no offense succeed in converting and the game would end 2-1 to Italy. Switzerland's effort gave Artifex 45 points as she opted not to have the multiplier. Spain would grab Scriptor 12 points as he also refused the multiplier, but Colubris grabbed 18 points from using her multiplier. Praeceptor sees her pick to win it all fall out of the tournament, but not before grabbing her 4 points after the multiplier. Musicus saw Italy grant him 57 points after the multiplier.
