The Kingly Queen of Africa.

After a hard fought tournament we have our winner. Although the shenanigans of a hack threatened to ruin our tournament, and the addition of the completely unrelated Royal Rumble becoming a source of points, we have crowned a winner. At the end of the first round, Scriptor held a 22 point lead over second place. That hot run ended for him, as he could only pick two semifinalists who would both lose in that round. That left the top spot open to the 2nd and 3rd place contestants. Second place Historicus had one semifinalist who made it into the finals. Unfortunately for him, he had Egypt losing the championship. For Artifex, she picked two semifinalists correctly that both lost in the semifinals. However, her random pick of the 23rd entrant was Randy Orton who outlasted all other competitors to win. That 30 points has crowned her as the champion of Africa.

Sometimes to Shake Things Up, You Have to Go Over the Top.

The hacking group known as учитель have tried to highjack the tournament by adding points accumulated by the players in a random draw of the Royal Rumble. It has inadvertently worked against them as they continue to sit in 5th place. However, it has shaken up the lead. Historicus has dropped to third, Scriptor to 2nd, and Artifex has claimed the top spot. For Historicus and учитель
the maximum amount of points they can score will allow them a 3rd place finish at best. Fortuitous may be able to squeak out a first place finish. In reality, it comes down to Artifex and Scriptor. Artifex rides Burkina Faso in an attempt to win, while Scriptor combats that with Ghana. Artifex's only advantage is picking Egypt to win 3rd, a result that might be enough to lock the tournament up for her. Here are the standings going into the final four matches.
